Brooks's injuries were minor. Brooks was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center.

The police said the damage to the 1999 Ford Windstar was total and it was towed from the scene by Don's Tow.

The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report.
